Police Investigate Missing Person

09-03-2006:

The Sweeny Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old Sweeny resident, Edward Braxton Masters.  Edward left his home Wednesday night, August 30, 2006, on a 1995 red Suzuki motorcycle displaying Texas license plate 689-L4B.  The motorcycle had black saddlebags.  Edward took a white helmet with the motorcycle.

MISSING PERSON: Edward Braxton Masters

Edward is approximately 5'10", 220 lbs, has black curly hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white/green stripe shirt and blue jeans.  Edward is bi-polar and manic depressive.  His family fears he is not taking his medications, and his symptoms could be worsening.

Edward has not contacted his immediate family or his employer. The last communication his family received was a telephone call on 09-01-2006.  Edward was in Edinburg, Texas.  He stated he was driving to Reynosa, Mexico.  He had approximately $1,200 in cash with him.  He has not been seen or heard from since.  His family fears that because of his medical condition, he could be in danger.
